I'll let my buddy Keegan explain:
Well friends, its a sad day for the city of New York. One of the greatest bars in the history of America, maybe in the history of CIVILIZATION, will be closing its doors for good on Sunday. Is it a coincidence that Whistlin' Dixies is closing a few months after appointing me as Tuesday night manager? Probably not.
Either that or it could be the fact that its about 10 blocks from the nearest subway stop, caters to underage college kids and union dock workers, smells like stale beer and puke at all times, and is randomly a Texas themed bar when we all know Texas is terrible.
As the final mayor on Foursquare here, I salute this fine establishment.
